Tarah Stepp, Interior Designer, NCIDQ

Stepp holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Business from Kansas State University, graduating in 2019. She began her career with Hoefer Welker, where she spent five years honing her expertise in the Commercial & Civic Studio. During this time, she designed essential spaces such as justice centers, fire stations, police departments, and corporate offices. These experiences helped shape her skills in material selection, space planning, detailed documentation, and construction administration. Known for her mentorship and collaborative spirit, Tarah often assisted colleagues with Revit, design troubleshooting, detailing, and finish selection.

In 2024, Tarah brought her expertise and passion for thoughtful design to Kali Buchanan Interior Design. Beyond her career, she enjoys time with family and friends or relaxing at home with her husband and two dogs, typically with a good book close by. A creative at heart, she also looks forward to rekindling her love of painting and exploring other artistic pursuits.
