Living at The Yards, is living down to earth. The Yards multi-family development is a unique addition to the fabric of the historic stockyards district in Kansas City. It interjects life into the community and brings an active dynamic to the industrial feel of the area. This location for living, provides retreat in close proximity to downtown and access to green space and river front. KBID provided Interior design consultant services to the architect of record, KEM Studio, for The Yards in the historic West Bottoms neighborhood in Kansas City. The ground up Multi-Family project was developed by Flaherty & Collins Properties. Our team, created the project vision and concept and then provided detailed space planning guidance, material finish and specialty fixture selections for the units and all amenity spaces. Once the building design was established, KBID provided a furniture selection package for all amenity spaces to the developer to implement.
